Hyderabad High Court which is serving both the states right now may go for bifurcation very soon. Until the permanent buildings get ready, the state government has decided to take a building on lease in Amaravati to house the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

This move will make it functional in next 10 months. Officials have been told to scout for a suitable building and once that is ready, National Informatics Centre (NIC) will be roped in for technical support. The government’s aim is to ensure that AP High Court begins functioning from Amaravati by next year
Andhra Pradesh litigants need not have to travel to Hyderabad once this happens. Division of the high court is the prime demand of Telangana government for a long time and it is finally happening. With that, almost everything of Andhra Pradesh administration will be out of Hyderabad.
