Mangalagiri is a high-profile constituency in the state today. Firstly, it is in the close-proximity of the Amaravati Capital Region and is also the constituency of Chandrababu Naidu’s scion, Nara Lokesh.

Lokesh is making quick strides in bringing new investments to the state. Earlier today, Google signed an MOU with AP Government to establish a Data Center in Vishakapatnam. Lokesh is keen to develop IT ecosystem to help develop Mangalagiri.

Accordingly, the Government plans to set up an IT Park near Mangalagiri.

The Project needs 200 acres of land and the Guntur district collector has been instructed to find the necessary land parcel.

The Government once again instructed the same in the Collectors’ conference.

If Lokesh is able to bring some IT companies here and create employment opportunities, Mangalagiri is likely to become his bastion. The capital works have already begun and good progress in the next five years will help TDP further in Mangalagiri.

Mangalagiri was one of the weakest seats of TDP. is one constituency TDP did not win after 1989. He did not shy away from contesting a difficult seat. And he did not leave the seat even after the 2019 election defeat.




In 2024, he has the highest majority (91,413 votes majority) among all the celebrities.
