A few days ago, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy arrived in Hyderabad to meet Former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao who recently underwent a Hip Surgery.
The timing of this visit came under scanner for many reasons.
Everyone wondered why Jagan met KCR days after the surgery. And then, after the meeting, he headed to Sharmila’s Lotus Pond residence to meet his mother, YS Vijayalakshmi. The visit was timed in a way when Sharmila went to Delhi.
Many may have observed Jagan timing his visit when Sharmila is not there but everyone missed another important detail.
Jagan’s Hyderabad visit was also timed in a way to avoid Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
Revanth Reddy was in Delhi when Jagan came to Hyderabad.
Jagan sees Revanth as Chandrababu’s man. He just made a formal message after Revanth Reddy’s victory. It is known that Jagan and KCR worked together for a long time.
Revanth Reddy’s victory came as a shock to Jagan and now he fears Chandrababu will receive help from Hyderabad in the upcoming election.
As the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan is expected to maintain cordial relations with his Telangana Counterpart but the former is not in the mood. He avoided Revanth Reddy’s swearing ceremony also. It may be remembered that KCR attended Jagan’s swearing ceremony in 2019.
There are several pending unresolved issues between AP and Telangana post-bifurcation. Telangana will benefit if AP does not pursue them. This attitude of Jagan will not help Andhra Pradesh.
