Jagan Gave “Hand” To Gudivada Amarnath

Gudivada-Amarnath-Jagan

It looks like YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is giving “hand” to his cabinet minister Gudivada Amarnath. Going by the latest developments, we may not see Amarnath contesting in the upcoming elections.

Currently, Amarnath represents the Anakapalle constituency. Meanwhile, Jagan announced Malasala Bharat as YCP’s candidate from Anakapalle this time. Speaking at the public meeting in Anakapalle, Jagan stated that both Bharat and Amarnath are his brothers and requested people to bless Bharat this time in elections.

Even in his speech, Amarnath said that he would not contest in the upcoming elections if commanded by Jagan.

It was assumed that Amarnath may get the Pendurthi ticket. However, we now hear that that ticket may go to the sitting MLA, Adeep Raj. The probability of him getting Yelamanchali and Chodavaram also looks bleak due to his weak image in those areas.

Sources say that Anakapalli’s sitting MP Venkata Satyavathi is also not getting a ticket this time. Even that is not being offered to Amarnath. Peela Ramakumari or Boddeti Kasi Vishwanath may get that ticket.

Not only him, but the high command is ignoring Gudivada’s aide as well. His relative and prodigy Urukooti Chandu was made the Gajuwaka in-charge recently.

However, the party’s cadre is opposing his appointment and eventually, the Gajuwaka ticket may get offered to Visakhapatnam’s Mayor, Golagani Hari Venkata Kumari. That might be the reason why Gajuwaka was allocated with majority of development funds by GVMC recently.

On the whole, it looks like YCP is ignoring Gudivada despite his loyal services to the party.
