YS Jagan frequently faces complaints about his monopolistic approach when it comes to operating his political party, YSR Congress. This reflects in every move that he makes right from the administrative decisions to the choosing of MAVIGUN as the capital.
However, even with so much happening in Andhra Pradesh politics, Jagan doesn’t appear to be too bothered about what is happening.
Firstly, the passing of Mudragada Padmanabham and subsequent political offset within the Kapu community had happened and it wasn’t encouraged by Jagan.
He silently held a meeting recently and left without discussing the equations within the Kapu community. There was no consolidated effort to take up this matter with the concerned community leaders in the part either.
Then we have the ongoing narrative about Bonda Uma, possibly looking at YCP as an alternative if he is promised a cabinet position from the party in the 2029 election. But again, Jagan doesn’t appear to be too invested in this either.
On a more personal level, Jagan’s own sister, Sharmila had undergone an abdominal surgery recently and it didn’t warrant a single post or courtesy call from Jagan till now. This is particularly strange, considering that Sharmila gave her everything to YCP before 2019.
With so much happening in Andhra Pradesh politics, the ideal scenario should have been that Jagan must have been here in the epicentre to assess things. But he has been fighting himself to Bengaluru with very little coordination with the party leadership.
