Veteran political analyst and senior statesman Jaya Prakash Narayana is one of the few respected political intellectuals in the Telugu states. He is generally regarded as a clean individual who has keen insight of the political scene.
Ashen asked to comment on the prospect of Amaravati being legislated in the Parliament, here is what JP had to say.
The seasoned expert has pointed out that Chandrababu was smart with the decision to legislate Amaravati in the Parliament and blocking any potential advancement from Jagan, who is on a mission to destruct Amaravati.
JP made an interesting metaphorical comment that Mohammed Bin Tughlaq will always be remembered by the public as a senseless ruler, who change the capitals and now, it’s repeating all by itself in the case of Amaravati.
JP said there is a chance of misdeed and incompetence in the assembly and that’s why Chandrababu cleverly took the Amaravati legislation to the Parliament. It might be easy to manipulate the outcomes in the Assembly, but anything as such is not possible in the parliament.
This is a smart way that Chandrababu has planned and executed in order to safeguard Amaravati from Jagan’s destruction. Everyone had already seen the kind of destruction that happened in the capital area during Jagan’s time as CM and this made him aware of the YCP boss’s mindset and hence, he acted quick this term.
But considering that Jagan had already questioned the legislative authority of the parliament with regard to the capital, he might have another deceptive plan in mind to hit Amaravati in the future. So nothing is for certain with Jagan as he has an extremely adamant stance, remarked a seasoned psephologist who closely follows Telugu states politics.
