Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani decided to change party after Chandrababu Naidu denied him a ticket. His daughter Swetha also stepped down as Councillor and is resigning to the party.
Nani announced resigning as the MP and would later do the same to the party as well.
Immediately after announcing that Chandrababu denied him a ticket, Kesineni Nani equated Chandrababu to Adolf Hitler.
There are rumors that Nani may join the YSR Congress or the BJP.
He is seen with a YSR Congress MLA in the same car the other day.
TDP is also prepared to face a barrage of abuses from Nani as is the case with him always when he changes a party.
At this juncture, the TDP cadre is remembering Revanth Reddy.
“Many ask why the TDP cadre owns Revanth Reddy despite being in the Congress Party. Revanth earned the respect by exiting gracefully from the party and by not being a motormouth. Some people say Revanth used the TDP cadre in the Opposition. But he is maintaining the same respect for the TDP even after becoming the Chief Minister. It was evident in the interview with ABN RK the other day. People like Kesineni Nani will only increase the respect we have for Revanth Reddy,” they say.
