Former PCC President Botsa Satya Narayana is almost ruled out from joining BJP any soon. On the other side, BJP’s state unit wants a high profile joining in to the party ahead of Amit Shah’s visit to Vijayawada on 9th of this month. Former AP Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy may be the one.
However Kiran Kumar Reddy said to have imposed a big condition for BJP to join the saffron party. AP BJP is headed by Kambhampati Hari Babu and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu micromanages the party for several years. Both these leaders belong to Kamma community. However Kiran Kumar Reddy clarified to BJP that ‘Kamma’ leadership will not help the party in the state as Kammas are already with TDP and never rally with BJP.
Kiran Kumar Reddy wants to lead the party in the state which means a ‘Reddy’ stamp on the party. He feels that Reddys will own the party as YSR Congress is diminishing every day. Also being a former CM, KKR do not want settle down with any little position in the party.
