‘Our MLA Sudhakar Babu’s attitude is worse. He is resorting to harassment of his own party leaders. He is encouraging group politics in the villages. He is using his followers to make false allegations against his own cadre and harassing them with the police. Assign a separate incharge for our Mandal,” some YSRCP cadres of the Naguluppalapadu Mandal complained to the former minister, Ongole MLA Balineni Srinivas Reddy.
A large number of leaders, cadres, and women from DWACRA groups from various villages in the Naguluppalapadu Mandal gathered at Balineni’s residence in Ongole on Friday.
They informed Balineni that they are seriously bothered by the arbitrary attitude of Kodumur MLA Sudhakar Babu.
“Ten party workers in Uppugundur have been falsely accused and severely harassed. Coming to the adjournment in one such false atrocities case, the driver of Madiga Corporation Chairman Komuri Kanaka Rao had died in a road accident,” they informed Balineni.
“We are being abused on social media. Wrong SC, ST atrocities cases, and rape cases are being filed against us. Please protects us from the MLA and the clutches of his followers,” they pleaded.
“Even for CM relief fund cheques, the MLA is taking bribes,” they alleged.
Responding to the allegations, Balineni said he would talk to MLA Sudhakar Babu. If there is no change, he assured them to take the matter to CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.
