Ahead of the crucial GHMC elections, Former Minister Krishna Yadav resigned from his post of the Vice President of Telangana TDP. Krishna Yadav alleged that he is sidelined by the party while deciding the candidates for the local elections.

It is said that Serlingampally TDP Leader Bandi Ramesh and a former Corporator from Chandanagar is also leaving the party. There are rumours that Krishna Yadav may quit TDP and join the ruling party.
Krishna Yadav began his political career in 1985. Later also served as a minister. He was however suspended from the party in 2003 following investigation in the multi-crore fake stamp papers scam. He rejoined the party in 2003.
