For ages together, TRS was saying that Andhra looted Telangana of all its resources and chances leaving the region in poverty and poor development for ages. However KTR had started a new tune for the GHMC elections.

In a bid to woo the settlers, KTR was constantly reminding people that several premiere institutions coming to Andhra and Amaravati is happening only due to the state bifurcation and the division in fact is doing good to Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema.
But few people are questioning if that means several towns of AP were deprived of development for being united. And that would also mean that there is no truth in KCR and TRS’ earlier claims of Andhra looting Telangana.
