As long as the YSRCP was in power in AP, there were no temples or schools, and finally, there was no concern about the hill. Wherever there was space, construction took place. Now, the coalition government that has come to power has pulled the strings, declaring these structures illegal.
Officials have issued notices to the YSRCP office in Machilipatnam, Krishna district. They stated that the construction of the YSRCP office was done in violation of the rules and obstructed the authority. The building was reportedly constructed on school property, occupying a thousand square yards.
It appears that the YSRCP leaders constructed the office without obtaining permission from the Machilipatnam Urban Development Authority. Officials also say there are no municipal permits. Consequently, municipal authorities have issued notices questioning why the building should not be demolished.
The name of the YSRCP district president is not available, so the officials served notices to the party office staff. They indicated that further action will depend on the explanation provided by the office staff.
