If the reports emerging from the Political Circles are to be believed, YSR Congress is in due for a big shock in Prakasam District. YSR Congress Strongman from the district, Balineni Srinivas Reddy is likely to quit the party. After winning in Ongole for four consecutive terms, Balineni lost the last elections to everyone’s disbelief.

Balineni is also a relative of YSR Family. But then, Jagan totally sidelined him after 2014 elections. Balineni is expecting an MLC from the party but Jagan did not care for him. It is said that the Senior Leader is contemplating to quit the party and join Telugu Desam Party.
If this happens, it will be a major jolt for the party in the district for the coming elections. Balineni is not participating in the party related programs in the district for a while now. On the other side, TDP claims that three more MLAs of YSR Congress are in touch with them and are ready to jump the fence before this assembly session.
