Former MLA and Congress Vijayawada City President, Malladi Vishnu managed to get bail in the spurious liquor case in his bar which killed eight. The court granted bail to Vishnu and his brother in this case with some conditions.

They have to attend before Krishna Lanka Police thrice a week. They are also instructed to cooperate with police completely. They are also instructed to furnish a surety of 50000 each.
Vishnu first denied having a share in the bar but later his testimony about the share in his election affidavit proved it wrong. Later he alleged that some one may have intentionally poisoned the liquor in the bar. This should be established in the forensic lab which is with the court now.
