Muslim Minister Soon in Naidu’s Team?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is thinking on the lines of inducing a Muslim into the State Cabinet. Muslim Voters are tilting towards TDP after its breakup with YSR Congress and it was evident in Nandhyala By-Election.

Andhra Pradesh Cabinet did not have representation from Muslims or STs all these years. Recently two berths in the Cabinet have fallen vacant after BJP‘s Paidikondala Manikyala Rao and Kamineni Srinivas Resigned.

One Berth may be given to Muslims from their quota. TDP has no Muslim MLA in its ranks. MLC MA Sharif or Council Chairman Farooq are the frontrunners. The official announcement is likely to come very soon.
