TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh had started preparation for 2019 election as he begins assessing the performance of party leaders and the party’ public representatives in a scientific way. He is holding periodical meetings with the newly appointed district presidents and review the implementation of government schemes.

Lokesh will also be identifying the differences of opinion on some issues among the party leaders and will be sending a report to the Chief Minister who will work on them and eradicate group politics in the party which is becoming detrimental to the party’s growth.
On a different note, Lokesh’s IT Wing will also prepare a scientific model, to assess the performance of the leaders from village level to the parliamentary constituency level across the state. So, that responsibility of 2019 elections will be relegated to the right people.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu already hinted that several sitting MLAs may not get a ticket in 2019 elections if they do not improve their performance. Naidu wants to finalize the tickets at least one year in advance so that there is enough preparation time.
