Andhra Pradesh Secretariat is wearing a bare look. Employees have got four holidays on a trot (Saturday, Sunday, Monday – Krishnashtami, and Tuesday – Independence Day). Almost all of them opted to apply for leave on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

So that they get Nine days holidays on a trot. Since many have their families in Hyderabad, they have used this option. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is also busy in Vijayawada and did not come to the Secretariat on Wednesday till evening.
All the ministers have also stayed away from the Secretariat. Many of them are busy in Nandhyal by-election campaign and some in their constituencies. Only Minister Lokesh has come to the Secretariat and busy with review meetings and meeting the visitors. Sources in the Secretariat says Lokesh is the most regular minister to the secretariat since the day he sworn-in.
