BJP had confirmed leaders for its State Units in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. PVN Madhav from Uttarandhra will lead the Andhra Pradesh Unit while N Ram Chander Rao will be the Telangana BJP President.
Both the leaders are with the party for a very long time and that is the Primary Criteria for their selection.

Madhav is from the BC Community while Ram Chander Rao is from the Upper Caste Brahmin Community. Both the leaders have strong ties with the RSS.
Both the leaders, however, are not popular in the Public and so, the selection did not excite the supporters.

Madhav appears to be YSR Congress leaning but at this moment, he appears harmless for the TDP because the Narendra Modi Government at the Center is dependent on the numbers of the Cycle Party. There is no chance of playing games like how the BJP did between 2014 and 2019.
On the other hand, N Ram Chander Rao is perceived to be very close to Chandrababu Naidu but then, at this juncture, both TDP and Chandrababu Naidu are inconsequential in Telangana Politics.

The major disappointment of the Supporters stems from the fact that both these leaders are not popular with the people and lack energies in going aggressively on the ground.
In Andhra Pradesh that is okay because the scope for growing is limited because of the alliance but in Telangana, it is a major disappointment.
BJP hopes to win Telangana or emerge as a decisive force in the state by 2028. The Selection do not excite the supporters.
The party supporters were rooting for leaders like Eatala Rajendar or Bandi Sanjay or Dharmapuri Arvind. But this selection comes as a huge disappointment.
Eatala Rajendar is someone who can build the party from grassroots with his organisational experience. Also, he knows BRS in and out and that could come handy.
Bandi Sanjay and Dharmapuri Arvind are aggressive and can woo the masses and youth towards the party. They can also grab the media space easily. But both of them are overlooked.
