Ranbir said during the conversation that it is his last decade as an actor. However, Ranbir clarified that he is going to be specific about the kind of roles that he would play on screen.
Apart from all that, Ranbir stated that he plans to start working soon as a director. He said that he will never direct himself and that he is hoping to make his directorial debut within the next 2-3 years.
Ranbir added that he is not looking at the audience’s point of view, where they are expected to get bored of him at one point. He said that he is looking at everything through his lens, saying that if he stays inspired and gets good work, he will do it.
Although Ranbir clarified his comments, his claim about the last decade as an actor and the plan to shift to direction has now left his fans worried. Most of them questioned whether Ranbir was indirectly saying that he is going to retire from acting. The supporters requested him not to take such a step, specifically at a time when his career is at its peak.
On the other hand, a lot of people expressed their excitement to see Ranbir directing other actors. Some even claimed that it was possibly aimed at continuing Raj Kapoor’s legacy.
