The Supreme Court earlier adjourned the hearing of the petitions on Amaravati to July 11th. On Thursday, there were rumors that the state government pleaded for an early hearing and the apex court agreed to hear the petition on the 9th of this month.
But then, these rumors are not true.
Some of the petitioners who approached the Supreme Court against the State Government have passed away. Their heirs have approached to replace the original petitioners.
The state government recently filed an Interlocutory application (IA) admitting heirs of such petitioners in this petition.
On May 9th, Supreme Court will only hear the Interlocutory application on that day.
The actual hearing of the merits of the original petition will be heard on July 11th.
Jagan Government brought the idea of Three Capitals to kill Amaravati. It’s been four years and by the time, the hearing of the Supreme Court begins in July, it will be just eight months by the time the Elections schedule comes.
By the time, the verdict arrives, it will be even less.
