For the past couple of days, we have seen some media extensively publicizing about Pawan Kalyan’s Deeksha on Andhra Pradesh government’s Land Acquistion Act on Capital notified villages. However Popular Telugu Newspaper, Eenadu today let out a news that it tried to contact the close-aides of Pawan Kalyan regarding this Deeksha, but they did not make any comment.

They neither denied nor accepted it. However they said Pawan Kalyan will take a decision on the deeksha when the Land Acquisition begins. Since only the land pooling is happening now, they say no decision is taken on the agitations. On the other side, the paper also said that Pawan Kalyan is currently studying the omitted 2,3 sections of the Land Acquisition which are regarding Social impact assessment and Food Security.
It is known that the state government recently release G.O. No. 166 which allows the Land Acquisition by excluding Social Impact Assessment and Food Security Clauses. This land acquisition exercise is to be notified by the concerned district collectors. However they did not give any notifications till now. May be Pawan Kalyan will be deciding on the deeksha only after that notifications.
