Pithapuram has been one of the most talked-about constituencies in these elections, which caught everyone’s attention because Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan contested here.
The ruling YSR Congress Party fielded Kakinada’s sitting MP, Vanga Geetha, against Pawan in this constituency.
Pawan, with the support of Pithapuram TDP in-charge, SVSN Varma, got a good response from people during his campaign. The polling ended in the state recently, and Pithapuram recorded a massive voter turnout of 86.63%.
All ground reports and post-poll surveys indicate that Pawan will achieve a massive victory in the constituency this time.
Meanwhile, Vanga Geetha has made positive comments about Pawan and his family. Recently, she stated that she never criticized or made personal comments against Pawan during her campaign, despite pressure from her party members. She emphasized her respect for Chiranjeevi and his family.
Notably, Geetha represented Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party during the 2009 elections. She was the PRP MLA from Pithapuram at that time.
However, netizens on social media are asking if Geetha has so much respect towards Pawan and Chiranjeevi, why didn’t she stop her party MLA Dwarampudi Chandrashekar while he was making nasty comments against Pawan during the campaign. They termed her statements as ‘acting’.
