YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was given a humiliating defeat in recent elections. From a record 151 seats to just eleven, it is a fall that would put everyone in the party to shame.
But then, it is not YSR Congress if they react as expected.

After the elections, we see defeated leaders not coming out for a few months. But it is YSR Congress leaders who are giving more interviews to YouTube Channels than the winning leaders themselves.
And then, going by the interviews, there is not even an iota of remorse in them.

All of them believe they did a great job in the Government and they lost due to trivial reasons.
Especially Liquor is figuring prominently in all these interviews.

The other day, in an interview, Former MP Margani Bharat said Jagan is a teetotaler and did not know the impact of not selling popular brands and that is the main reason for YSR Congress’s defeat.
Selling spurious liquor at the highest rates and leading to many health problems and deaths is definitely an issue.
But to feel that as a major issue ignoring all the bad and arrogant work they did in power is outright silly.
From Jagan to all the leaders, they are under an illusion they did great work in the Government.
This mindset will perish YSR Congress further. They will never know their mistakes and will never correct them.
Basically, you are trying to brush the facts under the carpet and paint a picture that ‘all is well’. That means you are not interested to know the reasons for your biggest defeat.
But then, the top leadership has such a worse mindset, it is not too much of an ask for the rest to behave sanely.
