Bharati Airtel CEO Sunil Mittal had personally attended the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s review meeting of Network Operators in Vishakapatnam. He is in all praises for Chandrababu government’s relief measures and said his company could not meet Naidu’s expectations. “We could not match the expectations of the CM. Situations did not favour us. So we were lagging behind Naidu”, Mr.Mittal said.
He also assured to resume the entire Airtel network in the next two days. He explained the Chief Minister how lack of Power supply affected their network resumption works at many place but assured the Chief Minister that his staff are on their toes from the last 48 hours and will work tirelessly till the network is resumed in Vishakapatnam. It is known that the Chief Minister threatened the Network Operators to get arrested and be brought to the review meetings couple of days ago. Finally they budged and forced in to action.
