Things changed after Chandrababu Naidu became the Chief Minister. In recent days, the names of many corrupt YCP leaders and government officials have been exposed.

In one such instance, a deputy surveyor took a bribe for Chandrababu Naidu’s land itself. He has now been suspended by the government.

Getting into details, when he was an opposition leader, Chandrababu Naidu bought land near the Shivapuram area of the Kadapalle village located in the Santipuram mandal of the Chittoor district. The region falls under Naidu’s Kuppam constituency.

He wanted to construct a farmhouse on this land, which is located adjacent to the National Highway. For this purpose, TDP leaders applied for a land exchange.

When they asked to make the land a sub-division, Deputy Surveyor Saddam Hussain demanded a bribe of Rs. 1.8 lakhs. He only completed the job after the amount was paid.

The discussion of this issue came up to Chandrababu Naidu when he visited the Kuppam constituency last week as a Chief Minister.

Upon inquiring about the issue with the collector Sumit Kumar and Joint Collector Srinivasulu, they asked Survey Department AD Gouse Basha to investigate.

Upon inquiring, Saddam Hussain’s corrupt history was revealed. It was also discovered that he had recently demanded a bribe of Rs. 1 lakh from a farmer to conduct a land survey.

A report was given on Saddam Hussain to the Joint Collector last evening and he was eventually suspended by night.
