Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan met the Agrigold Victims and their families a little while ago in Vijayawada. He urged the government to save the Lakhs of customers by returning their money through auctioning off the assets worth 1000s of Crores belonging to the company.

Pawan Kalyan refused to give a deadline to the government as it is a complex issue. He also responded to allegations on some ministers in this scam. “Such allegations on those in government are very common. I should not do the same taking other’s word. The government should look into those impartially,” he said.
Pawan Kalyan urged the government to release a white paper of how it is going to help the victims. He also asked the government to explore the possibilities of financial help to the victims as there are such instances previously in other states when financial frauds of this magnitude happen.
But then, there is no rationale in Pawan Kalyan’s Second demand because the government can not be held responsible for the misdeeds of a private company. The government can not help the victims with public exchequer. The government, however, should liquidate the assets and help the depositors.
