The people of Andhra Pradesh have witnessed a positive change in governance ever since Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as the Chief Minister.
While the former CM, Jagan Mohan Reddy, never allowed people to approach him and stayed behind curtains, Chandrababu Naidu has been among the people consistently since taking charge as the Chief Minister.
Even Minister Nara Lokesh remarked earlier today that people have seen a “Paradala CM” (CM behind curtains) in the past and they are now seeing a “Prajala CM” (People’s CM).
After disbursing pensions earlier today, Chandrababu Naidu participated in the Praja Vedhika event at Mangalagiri constituency’s Penumaka.
A candid conversation occurred between Lokesh and Chandrababu during this event.
When Lokesh asked whether it would take more time for the officials to be set right, Chandrababu immediately responded that they had been set right now.
Lokesh then remarked that a few officials are still used to the ‘curtain’ tradition. CBN then warned that if they repeat it in the future, the government will have no choice but to suspend them.
Chandrababu Naidu said that government officials should forget the old days and warned them that the government would take strict action if it received any complaints against them.
“We are moving forward with the vehicle which was going in reverse gear all these years. We can only increase speed but cannot take reverse again,” stated Chandrababu.
He mentioned that he is taking things slowly as he has just taken charge. He assured that his speed will increase in the coming days.
Babu reminded people that they will see the 1995 version of him. “During those days, whenever there was information about my arrival from Hyderabad, the entire state used to be on red alert,” he pointed out.
“Though things have changed now, I will not spare anyone who does wrong. Officials, MLAs, MPs, everyone should take note of it,” said Chandrababu Naidu.
1995 Chandrababu Naidu was the poster boy of progress and dealing corruption and complacency with an iron fist. The very mention of the 1995 Chandrababu Naidu gives goosebumps to the people who witnessed him of those days.
