The untimely death of actress Pratyusha Banerjee of Balika Vadhu on 1st April shocked us all. While there are several controversies regarding her death, it was most likely a suicide. The actress was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her apartment but there was no suicide note.

The reason why Pratyusha took such a drastic step is still unknown. While the investigation is still going on, the most recent updates on the incident are reports which state that cigarette stubs and alcohol in plenty were found along with medicines. Six police officials are working on the case who found the alcohol and unexplained medicines in her flat while examining on Sunday. A doctor is being consulted to give details about the various medicines found.
Another team of Police officials arrived on Monday to search the residence but nothing new was found.
