Bhogapuram Gears Up for PM Modi’s Landmark Visit

The Andhra Pradesh government has stepped up preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s proposed visit to Vizianagaram district on August 1, where he is expected to inaugurate the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram.
State ministers Vangalapudi Anitha and Kondapalli Srinivas inspected the venue on Sunday and reviewed the arrangements being made for the Prime Minister’s programme. They examined the public meeting venue and assessed the progress of infrastructure and logistical preparations.

The ministers directed officials to ensure flawless coordination among all departments, with special emphasis on security, traffic management, parking facilities, public convenience and protocol arrangements. They stressed that every aspect of the Prime Minister’s visit should be executed without any lapses.

District Collector B.R. Ambedkar, SP Vakul Jindal, and senior officials from various departments accompanied the ministers during the inspection. Officials have been instructed to complete all pending works well ahead of the scheduled visit.

The inauguration of the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport is expected to mark a significant milestone for North Andhra, with the project seen as a major boost to regional connectivity and economic development.
