Nellore Police have sent notices to YSR Congress MLA, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy to appear before them. Kotamreddy is reportedly aiding a racket of Cricket Betting. The Nellore Rural MLA however, has informed them he is busy with Rajya Sabha Elections.

Betting is rampant in Nellore and is running into 100s of Crores. Nellore Police arrested Betting Don, Krishna Singh last year and the racket roots reached to two YSR Congress MLAs in the investigation. Another MLA is Nellore Town MLA, Anil Kumar Yadav.
Police reportedly have crucial evidence about Kotamreddy’s involvement in this case. The party, however, can not risk sending him to the Police at this juncture when every MLA’s vote is crucial in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.
