Police were heavily deployed at the Anna canteen set up in Tenali, Guntur district. Municipal authorities have given the notice to remove this canteen. It is mentioned in the notices that there are traffic problems due to
TDP leaders are adamant about distributing meals to the poor but the police have entered the scene and seized the food containers. Even then, TDP leaders are continuing to serve food.
Anna canteen was set up at Municipal Market Complex in Tenali on 12th of last month. Two days ago, the authorities issued a notice to remove the canteen from there.
However, the TDP leaders are arguing that these are vendetta politics. The police who were heavily deployed in the area today stopped the vehicle bringing food to the canteen. The curry containers in the vehicle were taken away by the police.
Due to this, the TDP leaders got into an argument with the police.
TDP leaders have distributed food without curry. In the wake of this incident, TDP ranks are reaching the Tenali Municipal Complex in large numbers.
