Popular election strategist Prashant Kishor is gearing up to enter active politics. He will launch his new party, Jan Suraaj, on October 2, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
In an interview before his party’s foundation day, Prashant Kishor said that his party would lift the liquor ban in Bihar ‘within an hour’ if it comes into power.

He said, he, along with his team, had been working for the last two years to form this party and added that the people of Bihar had enough of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Janata Dal (United).
Responding to the yatra started by RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav, Prashant Kishor opined that he is happy to see Tejaswi at least getting out of his house and touring among people. He called it a welcoming move and lent his best wishes to Yadav.

In response to Tejaswi’s recent remarks about Nitish Kumar apologizing to him with folded hands for joining the NDA, PK stated that debating who apologized to whom is of no use. He further added that both have ruined of Bihar.
Bihar Assembly Elections are scheduled to be held in the last quarter of 2025. By entering active politics next month, PK is planning to hold political campaigns extensively across the state for the next one year.
