Before 2019 elections, Jagan promised to ask for votes against in 2024 only after he imposes a full length liquor ban in the state. But now, the liquor syndicate in Kurnool, AP is telling a sensationally different story.

A 90ML AP liquor bottle costs Rs 150 while the same quantity of Karnataka liquor costs Rs 65 to 70 and it is much better quality as well. The people invovled with the syndicate are reportedly buying Karnataka liquor for Rs 40 per bottle and selling it for the mentioned price.

The border security agents and excise officers are said to be receiving a share in the profits on commission basis, say reports from Eenadu.

This situation is particularly prevalent in Mantralayam, Adoni and Aluru areas it seems.

These bottles are being transported through vegetable vans and civic supplies vehicles, say reports.
