Telugu Desam Party Guntur MP Candidate Pemmasani Chandrashekhar spoke at a Public Meeting in Lam Village of the constituency. Speaking there, he compared the highheadedness of the YSR Congress leaders to that of Saddam Hussein‘s.
“YSR Congress leaders are behaving like Saddam Hussein. Since Saddam Hussein also behave autocratically, he was pulled out of a Bunker and was killed mercilessly like a Dog,” Pemmasani said.
So what is objectionable in Pemmasani‘s comment. He is making a routine Political comment about the autocratic attitude of YSR Congress leaders comparing them to a dictator like Saddam Hussein.
YSR Congress‘s Pamphlet Sakshi wrote an article saying that Pemmasani insulted the Muslim community and they are angry with him. They even write the Muslim community will complain about Pemmasani to the Election Commission.
It is actually Sakshi that is insulting the Muslims. Why would Muslims care about how a dictator died? Is this not a low remark on them saying that Muslims keep religion above everything (even in case of a dictator)?
If there is a complaint, it should be on Sakshi for showing Muslims in a poor light.
