Telangana had hoisted the biggest ever National Flag on its Second Formation day this June. The flag brought its share of problems for the state government as it got repeatedly torn due to heavy winds. The state government is slowly bringing back things to normal and is keen on making the Flag, a public attraction.

The flag which is hoisted at Sanjeevaiah Park is currently being operated by the staff of the flag vendor as local staff does not know how to mount and bring down the flag. A couple of staff from HMDA is being appointed. Also, the people visiting Sanjeevaiah Park are struggling to take selfies with the Tricolour due to its huge size.
The authorities are planning to mark few Selfie Spots in the park where the visitors can easily take the Selfies with the flag background. There is also a plan to develop greenery and landscape the place around the flag and battery operated car will take the visitors from the park entrance to the flag site which is some located 1 km from the gate.
