The department is also planning to conduct the Skill Census at Acharya Nagarjuna University. The app that will be used for the survey is nearly completed.

Along with the survey, users can also enroll their details through the app or the website. The officials are also planning to publish the survey details on the website so that new entrants can directly enroll online.

Six officials from each village and ward panchayat will be involved in this survey. These officials will undergo training for the Skill Census in two phases on August 23 and 24, and August 30 and 31.

After the training, officials will visit every household to collect data using a tablet device. Reportedly, the Skill Survey in Mangalagiri may take up to eight months.

The Skill Survey will help the government identify the skill sets of students, the number of employed and unemployed individuals in the state, and those seeking better job opportunities.

After the Skill Census, the government will identify gaps and offer skill courses to individuals, who will receive certificates upon course completion.
