Reports emerging from media suggest that Former Indian Cricket Skipper Sourav Ganguly may join Bharatiya Janata Party very soon. Ganguly who is considered as one of the greatest Cricketer and Captain of India and enjoys huge popularity in West Bengal State. Reports suggest that Ganguly spoke to BJP Big heads in this week and will very soon join the party.
Ganguly retired from International Cricket in 2008. He is now an important member of Bengal Cricket Association and a popular Cricket Commentator. The Saffron party is trying its level best to make inroads to West Bengal ahead of the Assembly polls next year.
BJP may want Ganguly to lead their poll campaign as they seek their first ever government in the state which was once a fort of Communists. In the past few days we have seen a foray of ruling TMC leaders joining BJP indicating the momentum to Modi’s Bandwagon.
