It is known that the AP High Court had granted bail for TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu in the skill case. AP AAG, Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy then stated HC crossed its limits by allotting bail to CBN by sidelining CID’s argument. They have approached the Supreme Court regarding the same.
The apex court called for a hearing on the CBN bail cancel plea filed by CID today and following the same, gave an interesting statement.
The apex court adjourned the bail cancellation plea by the AP CID till the verdict on the quash petition filed by CBN is out.
It is known that CBN had already filed a quash petition at the Supreme Court and the case was argued for well over a month. The judgment is in reserve now. If the SC approves the quash petition, then the entire case will be gone, meaning there will be more investigations and bails regarding CBN.
So, the SC has adjourned the bail cancellation plea till the verdict on quash petition is out. The next hearing on the case will be out only after the quash verdict is out.
For now, the apex court has ordered CBN’s legal counsel to file a counter to CID’s case by the 8th of December.
