There are 42 divisions that come under Old City which form the major chunk of the total divisions in the corporation. Huge presence of Muslim voters always give MIM an edge here.

However TDP and BJP seem to have left out all their hopes here. BJP claims it has 9% ticket to Minorities but there is no effort to woo the voters there. In fact, neither TDP nor BJP have made any specific mention of minorities and Old City.
As always MIM is the front runner there. TRS as well as Congress are trying to woo the voters there to bag substantial number of divisions by making various promises. KCR already announced that they will take the help of MIM if necessary for the Mayor seat.
