One of the crucial failures of the TDP+ government before the 2019 Andhra Pradesh election was its inability to effectively communicate its government schemes and policies to the public.
However, that is not the case this time. The TDP leadership has taken a strong decision to publicise the good work completed by the coalition government over the last couple of years.
The party has launched a new programme called Intintiki Telugu Desam to take the government’s welfare and development initiatives directly to the people.
As part of the programme, Telugu Desam cadres are visiting homes and explaining the welfare schemes implemented by the coalition government. They are also informing people about the development programmes being undertaken across the state.
The house-to-house visits are not limited to publicity. The cadres are also collecting feedback from families about their problems, local needs and opinions on government schemes.
This feedback is being taken to the government’s attention so that issues at the grassroots level can be addressed.
