Telugu Desam Party couple of years ago, decided not to allow Sakshi reporters to the press meets and other events that happen in NTR Trust Bhavan and Chandrababu Naidu’s Residence. Currently they are only allowed to government programs. Sakshi Reporters always try to portray TDP in poor light.

Their media personnel always try to corner the leaders with objectionable questions when on live. But Sakshi is not happy with that and approached Press Council of India alleging discrimination towards the media channel. The Press Council of India instructed TDP to allow all the media personnel to all the press meets and events that happen in NTR Trust Bhavan and Chandrababu Naidu’s Residence.
The Representatives of TDP have agreed for to allow them. Press Council of India also instructed the party to establish a communication link with Sakshi reporters which will ensure all the details and schedules of the press event of the party will be informed to them well in advance. PCI asked Sakshi reporters to comeback to them if they are further discriminated.
