TDP seems to have increased its efforts to pressurize the BJP led Central Government at home and as well as in Delhi. TDP MPs have given notice in Lok Sabha to discuss the implementation of AP Reorganization Act and stormed into the Speaker’s well.

They ensured that the house is adjourned twice temporarily before Speaker adjourned it for tomorrow. Similar protests continued in Rajya Sabha as well. YSR Congress MPs are at the Jantar Mantar for their Maha Dharna demanding Special Status to Andhra Pradesh.
TRS MPs also lent their support to TDP MPs demanding the implementation of promises made in the Reorganization Act. Back home, AP Budget sessions also began today and the government included Special Status in the Governor’s Speech itself.
The Government’s tone of dissent and dissatisfaction is clearly portrayed in the Governor’s Speech. ESL Narasimhan who is said to be close to the BJP high command had no way but to read out that. On the other side, Center has asked to send a delegation to discuss things. A team headed by Finance Minister, Yanamala himself is on its way.
