The government of Telangana’s agency, HYDRAA, has been making headlines for all wrong reasons over the last few days. What was praised by many people a month ago is now receiving severe backlash for allegedly demolishing poor people’s residences near lakes and water bodies.
MLA Kunamneni Sambashiva Rao, from the Congress party’s ally CPI, has warned HYDRAA that his party will not remain silent if HYDRAA targets poor people’s residences.

“Even though Congress is an ally, we will question if there is any wrongdoing. HYDRAA is like a Hydrogen bomb. The destruction should be used for development. We would not keep calm if HYDRAA targets poor people’s residences,” said Sambashiva Rao.
He also opined that the Congress party created a lot of confusion over the loan waiver scheme. He also demanded the government to give clarity on the implementation of “Tula Gold” and “2500 financial assistance” for women schemes.

He asserted that all promises made during assembly elections should be implemented at any cost.
On the other side, Sambashiva Rao also reacted to the recent ED raids at Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s properties. He called it BJP’s conspiracy and added no raids will be done on BJP leaders.
