In a stunning electoral upset, BJP’s K Venkata Ramana Reddy has emerged as a political powerhouse, defeating both BRS supremo K Chandrashekar Rao and PCC chief A Revanth Reddy in the fiercely contested Kamareddy seat in Telangana.
This victory has earned him the title of a “giant killer,” making waves not only in the region but also garnering nationwide attention. KVR Reddy achieved a historic victory in the Kamareddy constituency, traditionally held by the BRS and the Congress.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Chief Ministers from various states and national BJP leaders, congratulated him for making history by simultaneously defeating the current Chief Minister and a potential future Chief Minister in Kamareddy.

Nonetheless, a campaign is underway advocating for Ramana Reddy’s crucial role in the BJP Legislative Assembly, reflecting the desire of his supporters.
KVR Reddy secured a remarkable win with 66,652 votes, surpassing the combined votes of his rivals. This victory marked the first time a BJP candidate triumphed in Kamareddy and, notably, over both the outgoing and potential incoming chief ministers.
But his road ahead in Kamareddy might not be easy as Revanth Reddy and KCR would not take this defeat easily and will try to suppress him in more ways than many.
