Even a couple of months ago, if someone would have said Tamil actor, Vijay would have met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the capacity of the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, not many people would have believed.
But this is the reality today as Vijay has emerged as the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu and he has already registered his first official visit to the national capital of Delhi.
Earlier, when Thalapathy Vijay met Modi in 2023, Vijay was just an actor, and Modi was the chief minister of Gujarat, and was on the brink of becoming the Prime Minister.
Today in 2026, they have witnessed a historic uplift in career graphs as Modi is one of the successful prime ministers in the country while Vijay is one of the most charismatic chief ministers.
Another interesting observation here is that Vijay had been fundamentally against the BJP, and he is even in alliance with the Congress party at the state level in Tamil Nadu. So this meeting with Modi today against all the more significance.
It is reported that Vijay might be meeting with Rahul Gandhi and other top leaders of the Congress leadership later in the day today in Delhi. He must certainly be enjoying this position of power in his very first election campaign.
