MP Midhun Reddy’s defense about Kia Motors in Parliament backfired after he did not get the name of a Fortune 500 Company right. He went on to say the company, Franklin Templeton is a dummy company floated by Chandrababu but that backfired since CM Jagan himself had invested 9 Crore in the company.
Midhun Reddy and TDP MP Jayadev Galla took their Parliament fight into Twitter as well as both of them argued on each others’ timelines. Midhun, at one stage, lost his patience and resorted to bodyshaming of Galla by mentioning his hair. Jayadev gave a fitting reply and Twitterati were also in support of him.
Leaving aside the political points in the incident, it is good to see two Telugu Politicians interacting or fighting on Twitter. Until now, our politicians use their Twitter timelines for dumping news articles and unilateral allegations on each other.
It is good to see some discussion good or bad happening. Jayadev and Midhun hold verified Twitter Accounts which is also rare among Telugu Politicians.
