Minister Nara Lokesh has called out Jagan’s biggest bluff regards the IB, Toefl and CBSE formats in schools.
During the Assembly session, Lokesh said that Jagan never set up even one IB school during his term, though he spoke highly about it. The situation is such that Jagan’s government paid Rs 5 crore for getting one IB report.

During Jagan’s time an MoU was signed with US-based ETS to train and conduct Toefl exams for students from class 3 to 10. Lokesh pointed out nothing was done on Toefl eventually.
As for CBSE, Lokesh said that when they came to power, they conducted exams for CBSE schools, and it was seen that 90% of the students failed in at least one subject.

Lokesh said that in CBSE model, in which he studied too, there would be unit tests, semi finals, pre finals, mock finals and finals in 10th class. But it was seen that neither the students were prepared nor the teachers were prepared for this system.
Had they introduced it in 9th class, the 10th students would have benefited. But that was not the case. Which is why I asked for CBSE model to be postponed by three years so that we can train the teachers and prepare the students, said Lokesh giving a clarity.
