Election Commission and Police have been conducting extensive raids in Nandhyal and is recovering huge amounts of Cash Stashed. A majority of the recovered cash belongs to YSR Congress and raids are on the relatives of Shilpa Mohan Reddy as well.

Jagan and YSR Congress leaders are growing impatient on the raids and are alleging Political Vendetta on their candidates. But then, the fact is that Police are reporting to the Election Commission directly since the notification came and the raids are being conducted on TDP leaders as well.
Political Experts say that this may be the costliest election in both the Telugu States as both the sides have taken the election prestigiously. The voting for Nandhyal by-election will take place on 23rd of this month and the counting will happen on 28th. The results will be out on the same day.
