Telugu Desam Party cruised to a Sensational Victory in Nandhyal By-Election by a whopping 27,456 votes over YSR Congress. The huge victory crushed the morale of YSR Congress Leader and Cadre. There is a sense of disbelief in them over 2019 elections as well.

Political Experts feel that this is the right time for TDP to resume the Operation Akarsha on YSR Congress. If some MLAs quit the party at this juncture, it will further compound the problems of Jagan and his party. The other day, Jagan challenged Chandrababu to get the defected MLAs to resign and contest the by-election.
But it is an easy guess that TDP will be ready to go for the election now and Jagan will find it difficult even to find a candidate in all these seats. It will boil to the level that it will be Naidu’s choice to allow Jagan to sleep well or not in the coming days.
