Will Kapu Card Work for YSR Congress?

YSR Congress which lost big time in Godavari districts seems to have concentrated on them now. The party is trying to lure Kapu Community. They are experimenting the same in the upcoming Kakinada Municipal Corporation Elections.

In the 48 divisions, the main opposition party has allotted 17 seats to Kapu Community in OC Category and four seats to Kapu Community in BC Category. Another 11 seats are allotted to Fisherman and other related communities.

TDP and BJP are working in an alliance in this election. TDP has allotted Nine Seats to BJP. YSR Congress is expecting the Mudragada factor to work in its favor in this election which will pave for the party’s comeback in the upcoming Assembly elections.
